Lessons 1-4

At the outset of their unit on interpreting story through choreography, students transformed action words into movement and worked with the concepts of exaggeration, and abstract and literal interpretation. They created short choreographic versions of segments of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Tell Tale Heart for recording, feedback, peer-assessment and reflection.
