Weeks 7-9: Final Revision and Reflection

Using a visual rubric, students were asked to reflect on their own work to determine if they had included tints, shades, and layering of color to create the illusion of depth and volume. They were then introduced to the implications of including details and choosing a background color. Based on their self-assessment and feedback from the teacher, students created a revision plan to improve their work.

Students shared their portraits with their peers for constructive feedback and reflected on their own experience creating their portrait.

After completing this critique, students returned to their portraits for a final revision.
